Fishing Frogs

Bass tip of the day: leave your boat at home and fish shallow banks around cover such as weeds, grasslines, and submerged timber. Use a Zoom Horny Toad in either black or natural frog color. Rig it on a screw lock 4/0 frog hook using a bait caster with 30 to 65 lb test braid. Cast the frog out into the cover and let it sink. The Zoom frog will dive sinking side to side just like a real frog would. This entices bass to bite. Hop the frog a little like they would hop through the water.

I did this this morning and caught some good size bass. This is your prespawn Spring time bass tip of the day.

Use these screw lock hooks for frogs like the Zoom Horny Toad
